The Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia, the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and the United Nations Environment Program will jointly organize the High-Level Forum on Clean Air on March 2-3, 2023 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. This forum is being organized in support of operationalizing the Asia-Pacific Regional Action Programme on Air Pollution (RAPAP), Ministers of Environment of member countries and representatives of international research and development partners will participate in the high-level forum, to clarify the mechanism of action on air pollution issues at the regional level, share the best practices, capacity building, to introduce methodologies for introducing advanced technologies, and expand cooperation. This forum is one of the activities in preparation for the 17th conference of the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Desertification (COP 17), which will be held in Mongolia in 2026.
