On 6th January 2023, Mr. Ganbaatar was appointed as the Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. Prior to this appointment, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer at "Tavantolgoi Tulsh" LLC, a refined coal briquette plant, from 2018 to 2022.
Between 2012 and 2016, Mr. Ganbaatar served as the Deputy Chairman of the Capital City Committee of the Mongolian People's Party, a tenure of four years. In addition, he held the role of Project Manager for the project unit at the National Park, a state-owned enterprise from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, he was the Director at Capital Property Partners firm from 2004 to 2008 and also served as the Department Head of Mongol Post, a joint stock company from 2001 to 2004.
Mr. Ganbaatar pursued his secondary education from 1982 to 1992 at School No. 33 in Ulaanbaatar city. He obtained a bachelor's degree from the Mongol Business Institute in 1996, followed by a master's degree from the Mongolian National Defense University in 1998. Furthermore, he received an education in the field of renewable energy in the Republic of Korea.
